I am a very lazy person and usually wake up late. Especially after taking up a job, I am used to sleeping late and waking up late, getting ready in a hurry to go to office (otherwise the buses will be crowded and the traffic will be too much). But sometimes I don’t even hurry and just jog along with the crowd amidst all the traffic blocks and manage to reach late to office as there are no stringent login timings.
And days passed by this way until, two days ago I had to wake up early as I had something to do but after brushing found that I still had some time left before I start on my work, so I decided to spend a little time in prayer. While I was praying, deep inside, I felt that something good was gonna happen that day. I realized what it was, right after I started working…
I was actually struggling with an issue related to my project. I couldn’t do it on my own so I was running behind many people asking for help, the situation was not under my control, I was weary of it and got fed up, got irritated at times, this was delaying my day-to-day work and causing a big headache to me. This issue was there from April (now its October) so i had less hope of getting it resolved any sooner. But God in His amazing way did a miracle. I had actually mailed a person, asking by when they are planning to resolve it (yet another reminder!), when I received a reply asking me to check whether it is working as it had been resolved already!
You have no idea how big it was for me! Because I have been contacting so many people for it and they used to point to the other person claiming that they are not responsible and all of a sudden that guy says it is done! I checked, and it was truly resolved! Praise the Lord! What an amazing God! He chose that particular day to give me deliverance in that area? I don’t even remember praying for it that morning! It doesn’t stop there. The very next day, another issue in which I was struck for the past 3 months got resolved, there was a dependency between the two issues and so all the useless work I was doing for the past few months came to an end.
I should say I got back a taste of what it means to seek His face in the morning and to start my day’s walk by taking His hand and stepping with Him. I hope and pray that I do this every day! If anyone of you needs a breakthrough in any area of your life I encourage you to try starting the day early with God.
