Last time I learned that God is always working behind the scenes, even though we may not be able to see. His ways are beyond understanding and His paths are beyond tracing out! But still we can hope in Him to do good for us because He is our loving Heavenly Father and He cares for us so much!
So what happens when the screen is lifted? When the scene unfolds? Do you see what you wanted to see? Or are things happening different from the way you expected? Sometimes we try and limit God you know, at least I have! I have so many premonitions in mind thinking, this is how God would do, and this is when that will happen or this is the way in which things will go. But God always has a way of His own. Sometimes He does seem to do what we thought would happen but most often in ways that we could not even imagine in the least!
A similar thing happened with me – I had no idea that my marriage would be fixed so soon, I always thought that the wait would be long as I felt I was not yet ready for all that. I had lots of thoughts running in my mind, not wanting to believe that this was God’s will for me but finally gave in to Him when I could see the wonderful way in which He was leading me. And I have stopped trying to understand God, as I never can. I’m only a finite being whereas He is infinite! His understanding is infinite! He knows much more about me than I have ever known of myself. Truly He works in marvelous and amazing ways!
Only He can make an arranged marriage look like a love marriage! 😉 Ya, our houses are at a walkable distance, we used to visit the same supermarket but we never met or knew each other until the right time! J Our God is surely the greatest story-writers of all times! When I look back and see all that He has done for me, I can do nothing but smile! He has arranged everything so beautifully well. I’m reminded of the song “In His time He makes all things beautiful… “ So true!
