Last weekend we traveled to Chennai to attend one of my cousin’s wedding reception. On the way to the reception, we stopped and my husband went to a nearby shop. I was sitting alone in the car in silence, when I heard a soft thud and I looked around, there was no one. I heard the soft sound again and this time I noticed that small yellow flowers were falling down from the nearby tree on the car making the thud.
As I was looking, there was a strong breeze and many of those flowers fell down like rain. It reminded me of a song I was hearing in the morning – about something rain down (I had forgotten what song it was) I was thinking what did I want to rain down?
Then I was able to recollect – “Pour Your Spirit over me, let your love rain down” Indeed it rained! In the form of yellow flowers (my favorite color in flowers) I played that song once more, I just sat there listening and soaking it all in, embraced in the overwhelming love of my Savior – He is the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, ABOUNDING in love and faithfulness!
