Last night, It had rained in Bangalore. The day proved to be so hot and with the constant power cuts, the rain was a welcome sight. It changed the whole environment, with a cool breeze and the wonderful smell of rain. Enjoyed it. Today morning, the weather is still pleasant, with cloudy skies and just looking at the roads makes me feel happy as they look so clean, the whole world around me looks new and fresh. It is a wonderful day indeed!

Too much of anything is good for nothing – be it too much of sun or too much of rain. But the end of it all is always beautiful. Especially when we face trials in life and we feel so dry and God sends down his showers – it is so blissful. I would like to share my friend’s testimony here. As is the current trend, with lay off happening in companies some time or the other, she was also impacted. They decided to send her entire team out. They were informed a month earlier and they even got them to sign their resignations. I don’t know how she would have felt at that point of time – it looks like a scary situation to me.

But she didn’t let go of her faith. She held on to hope believing that God will open doors and that it will be for her best. She trusted in God’s plan for her life. And God did open a door for her in the same company! but in a different team – and guess what? It was for a higher role and a higher pay! Praise the Lord! God brought about a promotion for her out of her lay off! What a great example of God turning bad things into good for us. (Similar situation happened to me as well)

So, if you are facing any tough situations right now, I would like to encourage you saying “Hold on”. If you feel that you are in a desert, don’t worry God will send his showers down upon you. And after the rain, a beautiful day is waiting for you.
